Through our organizing efforts, the Allegheny Green Web is fostering on-going, professional planning in our region, for the purposes of developing a Public Green Space Connectivity Vision map for interconnected public trails and green space in Allegheny County, PA.

Our coalition is focusing on advocacy efforts to help advance the emerging Vision map forward into implementation and completion.
We are helping to accomplish this by: offering letters for projects and programs that help to implement, and are aligned with, the Vision map; aiming to have the Vision map influence an official government plan; and seeking new options for funding and financing the implementation and maintenance of the Vision map.

The Allegheny Green Web also aims to promote the project and program stories of our coalition Partners and Advisory Members to promote how the Vision map, with its growing municipal input, is leading to tangible successes.
We share completed stories on our website from existing websites, blogs, social media accounts, and other digital sources.
